'Waldorf Salad' was recorded over a lengthy period, every Monday night, at co-producer Chris Holland's house throughout 1998/1999.

For some curious reason Jules was simply credited as 'Benjamin' on this album. He'd probably been listening to too much Prince.

Guest musicians on 'Waldorf Salad' were…Les Ames (bass guitar on 'You Can't Have Her'), Michael Hamilton (Trumpet on 'Hinterland') and Stuart Field (guitar solo on 'Hinterland').
