'International Man of the Year' was recorded between February and July 2005, and released July 17th of the same year at the Marr's Bar, Worcester.

There was an amusing, drunkenly made video to accompany the title track at the album launch, but it has sadly been lost.

The photography, as on most of the albums, was produced by Chris Downton.

'Chop Suey' is a tribute to the artist Edward Hopper.

The only guest on this album was Carl Lewis who played drums and percussion.
