'Benjy Bop' was recorded between January and April 2004, and was released on May 2nd of the same year.

As ever there are many genres on display here...from the Indian and techno in 'Catch Me', Mexican mariachi overtones of 'Road Movie', to the retro rock 'n' roll feel of 'Bad News & Gasoline'.

Jules wrote 'Only Got Myself To Blame' whilst carrying some washing to a launderette in New York, 2001. Glamorous!

The album featured regular drummer, Carl Lewis, and also there were appearance by Carolyn Evans (sax - tracks 1 & 6), Tom Palmer (trumpet - tracks 5 & 7) and John Goundry (violin - track 7).
